Several transdisciplinary Study Circles have been established since the inception of Minding Animals. At the latest conference they were styled as Panels. The objectives of the Study Circles/Panels are to:
- Support Minding Animals International;
- Discuss academic and advocacy matters that will improve the status of nonhuman animals and alleviate nonhuman animal exploitation; and,
- Have discussions that culminate in lunch-time roundtables or panels at all Minding Animals Conferences and in joint papers where possible.
We are currently considering ways that we can better facilitate the use of the Study Circles, both now and into the future, as an integral part of Minding Animals. We will keep you posted!

To date, there has been 25 groups established, along with additional panels held in México:
